In January the advanced copies of the two new books arrived. Very pleased with the quality throughout. Worked with Graham Howse to get the spot UV, embossing, debossing and foiling done on the covers. Deborah Dodsworth completed her narration and Sebastian Valencia showed how the animation was progressing. Took out some Google Ads which helped drive traffic and sales of both Beetle Reich and The Scruffapillar. My PA, Angela Morrison continued to do great work lining up school visits and reaching out to book merchants, amongst many other tasks. Everybody needs an Angela to keep their projects on track. Now that the books are arriving in mid-Feb there’s a bit of a focus of effort to get things in place. More trademarking is underway too. New book ideas are also being progressed. Cristiana Rodrigues showed me more beautiful images from ‘Book 5’. Full steam ahead!
